Seattle Children’s Oncology
The interior design of the new oncology wing will take inspiration from the starfish and the beaches along the Washington coast. A “Spirit of the Sea” theme will feature informal paths leading to treatment spaces and play areas for children and teens. Organic shapes and textures, diffused daylighting and a colorful palette will be repeated throughout the space to give an overall sense of balance and harmony. This will create a warm environment that distracts young patients and welcomes parents.
