PAPPY’S Heating & Air Inc.

The design concept for this family-owned business will take advantage of the simple architectural elements that already exist within the framework of a typical 720 square foot metal building.

The conference room is located at the front of the building, creating a natural transition when greeting clients and visitors. The lack of natural sunlight will be addressed by installing glass panels in the interior office walls allowing natural light to enter the space from the front windows and door. To avoid shade from a covered porch a pergola will be installed with climbing vines giving a sense of enclosure without totally blocking the sun. With only one front window in the garage space adding a glass garage door will optimize daylighting permitting natural light to enter when inclement weather forbids opening the door.
